Optimization index of combustion engines used in agriculture

A new method of agricultural tractor engine work evaluation in the scope of maximum use of power supply was presented in the article. On the basis of the optimization index that was created, two diagrams of tractor engine work Z 8401.12 were compared in different agricultural conditions. It was stated that the engine optimum working index may be a comparable measurement of engines with different powers and load ranges.
